Picnic organized by the LSR team from the Haute Vallée de l'Aude to
meet with the families of refugees in Carcassonne was a nice opportunity
to get to know better the people we have been helping for a few years.
It was all very friendly and enjoyable.

After a successful Quiz evening in Trausse Minervois, here is a new edition of the Quiz in Pezenas.
LE QUIZ is back and tickets are now on sale! Quiz masters Steve & Marvyn will challenge you again with this fun, interactive quiz! Teams of 6* will be put through their paces with rounds on film, theatre, food and drink, current affairs etc. Great prizes to be won.
Questions are in French and English – so you will need to put your heads together with your French or British chums to create a winning team!

We are running a quiz night at the Foyer Municipal in Trausse Minervois to raise funds for Languedoc Solidarité avec les Réfugiés, we are very much hoping that many of you will feel like supporting this.

A magical evening of fine wine, music and global cuisine.
Your ticket includes a 3 course vegetarian dinner prepared by the very people your donations help us support along with 2 glasses of organic wine from Grange de Bouys and live Jazz.
As always all profits from this event will go directly to support our work helping refugees in the Languedoc and beyond.

Childrens Xmas party at La Cimade in Beziers.
On Monday 19 th December we held our first Childrens party at La Cimade since Covid. We provided 61 present bags for the resident kids as well as a slap up feed, face painting and a Disco.
Huge thanks to all of you who donated to fund this party and to Bassie and her amazing team of elves, Nicole, Justine, Lesley, Pauline, Sharon, Domi and Jean Yves.
Not forgetting the refugee families who prepared all the food for the party too.
Thank you everyone who came to the Concert at Cassan
on 3 rd December. It was a truly memorable evening. We raised lots of money and collected a
lot of blankets and food. Thanks to everyone involved and of course O Sisters for their marvellous singing. Roll on next year!
This weekend at the Cracker Fair at Valmagne 3 of our volunteers will be doing face painting for kids.
You will also be able to learn a little more about LSR and what we do as well as buy tickets for the upcoming Christmas Concert.
This is always a brilliant event so come along and say hi!

Mulled wine and nibbles are Included in the €10 concert ticket price and please bring your best singing voices with you as we encourage you to join in with some of the carols. There will also be a raffle drawn on the night.
